Hungry Phillies fans—this is our year. No, we can’t promise a World Series win, but we can guarantee a delicious season. If you find yourself hungry while watching the Phightins, or you just visit Citizens Bank Park to get your steps in (hey, whatever works), we’ve got you covered. These are the best things to eat at the Phillies ballpark.

The Classics

Location: Ashburn Alley, Sections 208, 319, Hall of Fame Club sections 218 & 225; everywhere ice cream is sold.

We’d be remiss not to mention the legends of Citizens Bank Park, and no, we don’t mean the Hall of Famers. You cannot go wrong with the spicy crab fries and signature cheese sauce from, a chocolate-vanilla swirl of soft serve and rainbow jimmies in a Phils helmet, and a salty soft pretzel spoon. If the dozens of stands become too overwhelming, just stick with these.

The Beer Bat

Locations: Leinenkugel Bar (section 141), Liberty Landing (section 143), Goose Island Bar 3rd base gate for beer; co*cktail “beer” bats are available at sections 112, 204 & 323

Only a few things in life make you feel powerful just by holding them: Excalibur, Thor’s Hammer, and the beer bat at Citizens Bank Park. And since only one of those is real (or so we think), we suggest grabbing this ridiculous collectible the next time you're at the ballpark. The towering mug flows with 24 oz of beer (we recommend Leinenkugel's Juicy Peach) and will run you around $25 (and an extra $10 if you want the home plate stand, which you do, because how else will you display it in your living room?). Yes, it’s absurdly expensive, but it’s completely worth it for a souvenir that feels as special as a Phillies' victory.

The Hot Dog and The Italian Sausage

Location: Coca Cola Corner, Section 140 & 141 (right field foul pole)

There are so many hot dogs to be had at CBP, and they are not all created equal (dollar dog night, we’re looking at you). The best one is at Coca-Cola Corner—the all-beef franks are colossal, juicy, and nestled in a fluffy bun, just waiting for you to top them with relish, mustard, or whatever weird combination floats your boat. If you want to change it up from a classic frank, try the smoky grilled Italian sausage with (surprisingly flavorful) peppers and onions.

Manco & Manco Pizza

Locations: Ashburn Alley (outfield), Liberty Landing (section 143), Pass & Stow Restaurant (3rd base gate), Section 137, Hall of Fame Club section 212

A taste of theJersey Shorewithout having to sift through boardwalk traffic or fend off seagulls? Sign us up. This is easily the best pizza at the park—a thin, crispy crust,’s sweet tomato sauce swirling in the center, and classic toppings like pepperoni and sausage. Plus, they’ve made them personal sized, so you can easily devour them from your lap while boogying to Seranthony Dominguez’s walk-out music.

Federal Donuts

Location: Section 139

Craving something saltyandsweet, but don’t want to miss more of the Phanatic’s performance than absolutely necessary? Head to Federal Donuts where you’ll have all your bases covered. Grab an order of the light and crispy chicken tenders with rooster sauce (which is kind of like russian dressing’s tangier, spicier cousin) and an order of donuts. We’re partial to the cookies and cream, but they’re all fluffy and warm (since they’re made fresh, in house).

Greens & Grains

Location: Section 125

Finding a good meatless main at a Philadelphia sporting event is as rare as finding a good therapist who takes your insurance. But somehow, Greens & Grains has done it. The gyro pita sandwich with seitan and vegan tzatziki is serviceable, but the plant-based hot dog on a toasted bun is worth going out of your way for.

Colbie's Southern Kissed Chicken

Location: Section 120

You love Ryan Howard. Your boss loves Ryan Howard. Even your mom loves Ryan Howard (and she’s not wrong—heisadorable). Colbie’s is the former Phillies slugger’s New Jersey-based chain, and it’s serving up crispy, southern-style chicken sandwiches and tenders. Instead of ordering, they have a massive grab-and-go queue where you can get Howard’s signature, The Big Piece—fried chicken on a sweet Hawaiian bun with American cheese, garlic aioli, pickles, and bacon—or our favorite, the Nashville Hot, which is spicy, but not so hot you’ll need another $18 beer.

Pass and Stow

Location: Third Base Gate

Apart from being at the stadium, the best way to watch any sporting event is among friends (and many boozed-up strangers) at a sports bar. Citizens Bank Park created the ultimate mashup with Pass and Stow. Near the third base gate, the pub has something for everyone: TVs and a raucous crowd for the die-hard fans, and a spacious outdoor beer garden for your friend whokind oflikes sports butreallylikes taking pictures (we suggest doing so in front of the waterfall wall). Order the South Philly Disco Fries, topped with tender roast pork, melty sharp provolone, and broccoli rabe, the crispy dry-rubbed wings, and a few co*cktails for the table. Just tell your friend to scream when everyone else does to fit in.
